Designing and building a reference Home Cinema becomes more exciting when the client has a sharp vision of what the room will look like. The interior deisgner and Cornflake worked together meticulously paying attention to every detail from concept to fruition. As the client works in the film industry, he wanted to ensure the playback of content was no different from the experience in the original mastering process.

The room was themed around planets in line with the clients new film 'Moonfall" and featrued the Barco DCI projector as a shining star through. themural backdrop the reaer of the room. The cinema also includes an anamorphic lens contorl to swtich between native 2.35: and standard 16:9 TV viewing. Sound-wise, Meyer Sound was an obvious choice for this project as the client had already worked with the brand.

Cornflake was chosen for this project because we understood the specific brief and also what entailed setting up a DCI encryption for pre-release content direct from the major picture studios. This also ensures an elevated level of uniformity and perfromance are maintained when playing back content. Careful data network design consideration was also essential to achieve this functionality. The planet theme; unique lighting design was easily controlled directly via Cornflake's custom Crestron control.
