Cornflake was delighted to host its first Designer Dinner in collaboration with leading London interior design studio, Studio Indigo, on Thursday, 22nd September, for a night of beautiful food, drink, and fantastic company.

To mark the first official day of Autumn, the table was whimsically decorated with rich burnt oranges, reds and tan autumnal colours and an array of flowers such as; Dahlia, Chrysanthemum, Rose Hips, Chocolate Cosmos, Sanguisorba, Scabious, Amaranthus, Clematis Seeds and Carthamus created by Yoko Blooms alongside some truly unique pieces from Dahlgren Duck’s luxury portfolio of decorative objets. The richly-dressed table featured a stunning hand-blown and sculpted glass vase centrepiece by Vessel Gallery, topaz and eldor vessels by Moser, porcelain dragonfly figurines by Lladro and charming flower sculptures by Lalique.

The evening was hosted by Mike Fisher, James Kandutsch and Gary Lewis, with 5-star gastronomy from hospitality experts Jp Hospitality; Jamie Jones and Peter Taylor, founders of the successful restaurants “The Holy Carrot” and “The Mayfair Chippy”.

However, the evening would be nothing without the fabulous company of our guests, each luminaires in their own field within the design and property industry. It was a pleasure to host; Mona Perlhagen & Jenny Simpson, Co-Owners of fabric powerhouse Chelsea Textiles, Alejandro Hahn, Managing Director of Dahlgren Duck; Ed Tryon of luxury property agency Lichfields, Caroline Baker from Estate Management firm Caroline Baker; Vanessa Budd from Beck Interiors, Jon O’Brien CEO of property development company DOMVS and Stuart Roland from Alexander Maltby.

Following the dinner, guests were given special gift bags as a memento of the occasion filled with a Cornflake Bespoke Scented Candle, a Studio Indigo book, Rococo truffles, a bespoke leather-bound notebook by Garrett Leather and a Nutriburst Vitamins pack.

Our unique dinner aimed to combine fine art with fine dining and present our partners and their specialisms in a perfectly curated setting.
