Providing perfectly-styled seasonal decorations for us to host a special Christmas dinner party for leading interior designers on Thursday 2nd December, award-winning interior design studio, Stephenson Wright and Harrods Interior Styling worked in collaboration to create the most beautifully-dressed Christmas table in our newly refurbished boardroom.

Harrods Interior Styling

The tablescape was sumptuously styled by Alison Husbands, interior stylist at Harrods Interior Styling with an enchanting, festive theme where beautiful British birds played a huge inspiration. A curation of silver partridges from Carrs, porcelain swans from L’Objet and intricate ducks, herons and African Hoopoe by Buccellati were all placed down the centre of the table to create different heights and to add grandeur. Harrods Interior Styling collaborated with florist Neill Strain, Harrods’ exclusive florist situated on its lower ground floor, to create the charming red and gold festive bouquets as well as eight bud vases to match. The look was completed with two elaborate gold candlesticks by L’Objet and elegant silver tea lights from The White Company.

The table place settings were the design inspiration of Natalie and Juliette at Stephenson Wright, who also recently redesigned the upper floor of our showroom at 41 Windmill Street. Each one was personalised using the services of the Embroidered Napkin Company and featured the name of our guests sewn in gold thread on navy blue velvet ribbon tied in a bow. These were wrapped around handmade linen table napkins, resting on gold-rimmed scalloped white bone china tableware by Aynsley. The crystal wine glasses were by Reidel and water glasses by Soho Home and the cutlery service was designed by Sophie Conran for Portmeirion Floret. To complement the theme, luxury Christmas crackers were by Harrods of London.

The event was hosted by Gary Lewis, co-owner of Cornflake and guests included

Natalie Stephenson and Juliette Wright from Stephenson Wright, Letitia Fitzgibbon and Alison Husbands from Harrods Interior Styling, Jo leGleud and Scott Maddux from MADDUX Creative, Noor Charchafchi from Celine Interior Design, Christopher Dezille from Honky Interior Design and Andrew Richards from D3 Projects. The fantastic dinner was catered by the highly acclaimed independent restaurant, The Mayfair Chippy.

The aim of our special dinner was to showcase how the interior styling service by Harrods can be used to great effect for every occasion, including Christmas, and

how interior designers can utilise the services for their own clients throughout the year. In addition to the stunning table decorations, Harrods Interior Styling has also created themed niches for every room in the home on the upper floor at Cornflake in Fitzrovia and they have also dressed the new stylish home office space that leads to our boardroom. Appointments can be booked with Harrods Interior Styling at the Cornflake showroom, where clients can also see demonstrations of the most advanced home automation solutions for their homes.
