Creating a merry dressed table at Cornflake

For a second Christmas table design for Cornflake, Stephenson Wright envisioned a magically festive and full display in a palette of red, cream and teal. Every place setting was dressed in reusable Fortnum & Mason fabric crackers with red rick-rack trim. Vibrant red velvet bows adorned each plate with gold thread in the guests’ names. Painted Nutcracker men and flocked reindeer added a traditional and whimsical feel, alongside sprinkles of snow, clusters of walnuts and berries. Our excellent florist Yoko provided a bed of foliage and cotton tufts mixed with gold ferns and pinecones; she understood the brief perfectly, and we were thrilled with how dense and magical the flowers and greenery looked. We like to introduce layers of natural Candlelight; tall, tapered candles in teal, small tea lights in silvered glass, and our favourite, Mrs Alice Pagodas, in two sizes, which added the variation of height to the tablescape.

The flowers were set to the theme by the incredible Yoko Blooms, who used an array of roses, ranunculus, anemones, nerines, blue thistles, ilex berries, red skimmia, gold asparagus fern, cotton, pines and pinecones/walnuts and viburnum berries.
